My name is Sam Havens, son of Katie B. and Euhl. M. Havens.  I was

born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, and I've lived in Houston since

1964.  I'm a professor at the University of St. Thomas where I have

taught drama and directed plays since 1969.

I've been writing plays for many years; I have completed about twelve

scripts.   My agent, Earl Graham, has secured several productions in the

USA, Australia, and Canada.

OLIVES and CURVE.

I also paint abstract pieces in acrylic; I've sold several. Click on "Art

I am married to wonderful Gretchen.  We have three excellent kitties:

Phoebe, Chester, and Alex.

My daughter, Wendy, lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her mom, Betty.
